Visit the Inca temple of Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun, Plaza de Armas, Cathedral, San Pedro Market and the 12 Angles Stone.

Qoricancha: One of the most impressive temples of the Inca era with finely worked stonewalls, its architecture is unique and still remains in mystery how its builders were able to perfectly fit each stone without mortar, and without leaving place for a sheet of paper between the joints. Here we will also show you the smallest stone of one centimeter, as well as the different temples such as the Moon, the Stars, the Rainbow, the Thunder and of course the Temple of the Sun. You will also visit the hall of the art gallery, a space to the exhibition of artistic works of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries made by anonymous authors of the Cusco school.

Plaza de Armas: the heart of the capital city of the Incas and today is this square, known in the language of the Incas as ”Huacaypata” or ”Square of Power”. It is surrounded by arches that we call “portales” or doorways, such as the Bread Portal where bread was formerly sold, or the Trade Portal where Jewish, Portuguese and Spanish merchants had their stores at the time of the colony.

Cathedral of Cusco or Cathedral Basilica of the Virgin of the Assumption: built on what used to be the ancient palace of the Inca Wiracocha, it is the most important Catholic religious monument of the historic center of the city of Cusco. Considered one of the most beautiful cathedrals in Latin America for its works of art and decoration with gold leaf.

Stone of the 12 Angles: located in one of the walls of the palace of ”Inca Roca”, here you can see the skill of the ancient Peruvians to make this construction or palace in polygonal style, in which also a sheet of a paper does not enter in the union of stone and stone.

San Pedro Market: flavors and aromas of the first market of supplies of the city of Cusco. Built in 1925, here you will find the spirit of Cusco and the apparent disorder in the decoration of all the product stalls where you will find a variety of plants, foods, exotic fruits, flowers, talismans for good luck, etc.
